This beautiful, 1950’s Pat Premo California has a scoop neckline and fitted bodice. The skirt has tucks around the waistline and flares out to a full circle skirt. The royal blue dobby fabric is contrasted with the ivory rope fringe around the entire neckline and the enitre hemline. It has a center back metal zipper entry. The bodice is fully lined.

Pat Premo was a California designer who began her career working for Peggy Hunt in the 1930s. She then worked for Marjorie Montgomery and married the owner, Bill Schminke. He gave his new wife her own label. The Premo label was sold across the country and was known for her interesting fabrics and her use of horizontal stripes.
